How MovementX Providers are Different
Let’s face the honest truth—there are a lot of physical therapy companies out there competing for your attention and referrals. They all make similar claims too, such as:
- Our physical therapists are highly vetted!
- We focus on hands-on, personalized treatment!
- Our providers have sought after specialties!
- We deliver high quality services!
- Our therapists get one-on-one time with their patients!
- Our PTs are highly experienced!
At MovementX, our PTs have all of the above characteristics and more. What differentiates most is only the baseline for us.
MovementX has the best physical therapists and best personal trainers because, in addition to the above:
- They’re empowered
- They go above and beyond
- They deliver an 11-star experience
Not only that, they’re also some of the best communicators delivering the best outcomes in the industry.
In the spirit of our core value—empathy—MovementX providers craft the experience they would want to receive themselves.
Check out how, below 👇
They’re Empowered
Too often, physical therapy care is about everything but the patient. In a traditional environment the focus is typically on:
- Navigating arbitrary insurance requirements
- Identifying which insurance company reimburses the most
- Using the treatments that pay the best
- Making sure you have enough time to get to your next patient
- Documenting every little thing you do to justify payment
We eliminate all the noise so our providers can focus on what truly matters: your patients.
At MovementX, we believe empowered providers will empower their patients.
We focus on giving our providers the right tools, resources, and crafting the best environment for every single provider to succeed. Our aim, on the staff side, is to treat every physical therapist and personal trainer like they’re an All-Star Athlete—from equipment, to education, to time, and more, we provide everything and anything they need.
Why is this so important to us?
Well, we know that if our providers feel empowered, they will make magic happen with their patients.
They Go Above and Beyond
MovementX provides the most flexible physical therapy job for a reason. Yes, it keeps our providers happy, but it also enables them to go above and beyond for their patients.
Here are just a few of the ways MovementX physical therapists and personal trainers are able to go above and beyond what’s normal in our industry to create a truly personalized experience for their patients:
- They attend follow up physician visits with their patients to ensure quality care
- They work out with their patient to ensure they return to sport and exercise, and safely hit their goals!
- They meet patients wherever it matters most to them, whether that’s their home, gym, a hike they want to get back to doing, on the track, their workplace, or more.
- They encourage patients to email or text them anytime with questions.
- If they’re not sure of the treatment technique with the strongest evidence, they will take the time to research and find it.
- They personalize the experience (some might even send their patients a hand written thank you card).
- They see patients when it matters most, oftentimes even in the early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.
So much of healthcare starts with (or should start with) empathy.
MovementX has the best physical therapists who are creating an experience they’d want for themselves or for a close family member.
We strive to be the physical therapists you’d want your mother to see.
And our physical therapists don’t only go above and beyond to deliver great treatment, they also go above and beyond to deliver an absolutely exceptional experience in ways you would never expect.
They Deliver an 11-Star Experience
During onboarding, we share the concept of the 11-Star Experience with all of our physical therapists and personal trainers. The basic premise is: if most experiences are rated out of 5, how can we achieve an absolutely mind blowing 11-star experience?
While 11-star might not be realistic (the example is often a personalized concert from Beyoncé or Taylor Swift), if we aim for 11, we can often hit 8-stars.
I recently found out about an amazing experience one of our providers delivered in a rather unexpected place.
One of our patients had recently passed away after a heart attack and a long battle with numerous medical conditions. Alongside one of our PTs who was caring for him in his final days, I was attending his memorial service. As soon as we saw the patient’s daughter, she started tearing up, gave our PT a big hug, and profusely thanked him for one moment in particular:
“Thank you for taking my dad to the rooftop for his last 4th of July.”
Wait, what?!
After inquiring further, I found out that our PT spent his 4th of July in Washington DC with our patient. He went over in the evening, had dinner with him, and took him to the rooftop in his wheelchair to watch the fireworks together.
Knowing the patient well and since he had spent many years serving the government, I also understood that the 4th of July was his favorite holiday. I could only imagine how thrilled he was, pulling out his phone and taking pictures, exclaiming how much he loved America and how grateful he was.
As his daughter hugged our PT tight, his daughter’s eyes weren’t the only ones tearing up at that moment.
Our relationships with our patients extend beyond a treatment table- we are truly committed to helping them live their best lives, and its evident through the 11-star experience we are aiming to deliver.
Walking the Walk
It’s one thing to ‘talk the talk,’ but another to walk the walk. As I hope you can see in the example above, at MovementX, we pride ourselves on doing both.
That’s why we are so thrilled to have received over 1,100 5-Star Reviews across Google and Yelp across the nation. Even better yet, patients are asked to rate every session. With over 3,000 responses since we introduced this option, here are our results thus far:
- 5-Stars: 99.8%
- 4-Stars: 0.2%
- 3-Stars: 0.0%
- 2-Stars: 0.0%
- 1-Star: 0.0%
I’m so confident in our PTs that I’d love to hear about your experience personally – whether it’s good or bad, my inbox is always open. Please reach out to me directly at askjosh@movement-x.com. I’d love to hear about what we are doing well, so we can keep that our main focus, and identify areas we can improve in.
Better yet, I’d love for you to experience it yourself.
